The parish church of St. Ulrich in the town St. Ulrich am Pillersee dates back to the 15th century, but a church on the same site is mentioned in documents as early as the 11th century. In the past, the church belonged to the "Rott am Inn" monastery (until 1803).
In 1960/61 the church was renovated and the baroque furnishings restored. The church has both Gothic and Baroque elements. The church is under monument protection.
