Baumkirchen is a small, friendly village in Tyrol, about 20 minutes by car from Innsbruck. The town lies on a flat slope just above the Inn Valley and stretches towards the mountains.
Baumkirchen has been documented since the 12th century. The place has many historic houses that are very well maintained.
There are not necessarily tourist attractions in Baumkirchen, but the place is still worth seeing because it is a typical example of the Tyrolean lifestyle: agriculture in the middle of the village, well-kept historic houses, a sunny location under the mountains and a friendly, stress-free and happy population.

How to get there: By car, about 20 minutes from Innsbruck. Parking is available at a playground next to the elementary school, on the main street, shortly after entering the village.
