The Wildsee or Seefelder See is a popular bathing lake at 1080 m above sea level in Seefeld in Tyrol. Due to the altitude, the water is rather cold. However, the sunny location on a mountain plateau invites you to take a dip in the water.
The Wildsee has two lidos that are opposite each other on the lake shore and are subject to a fee. The small Waldschwimmbad and the large Strandperle lido with an additional swimming pool, children's pool, pedal boat rental and restaurant.
The short walk around Lake Seefeld, which partly leads over wooden footbridges through the moor, is particularly popular. A walk around the lake takes about 30 minutes. Ducks and tame squirrels, which are particularly popular with children, can be seen along the way.
Even in autumn and winter, when the lidos are closed, the Wildsee impresses with its breathtaking location on the mountain plateau. Time to relax in nature and enjoy the view.
