Kemater Alm (alpine pasture)

Info Toll road and parking Kemater Alm at the end of the page.

The Kemater Alm alpine pasture in Tyrol is a 40-minute drive from Innsbruck and offers an impressive alpine landscape. Visitors can either enjoy the restaurant right by the parking lot with its beautiful views, or go hiking in the area. The short hike (approx. one hour) to the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte is particularly popular.

View of the Kemat Alm

Just behind the alpine pasture there is a small but impressive chapel. Cows and goats usually roam freely and visitors experience mountain farming up close. A stream flows down the mountain and offers children fun as it babbles along. A walk in the forest is an alternative to the mountain hiking trails.
