The Grawa waterfall is part of the first stage of the Stubai white water trails, but can also be reached independently in a few minutes on foot. A large viewing platform was built in front of the waterfall, from which the impressive drop can be observed in peace and comfort.

In order to combine a visit to the waterfall with a short walk, it is advisable to park a little below (i.e. in front of the waterfall if you are driving towards the Stubaital Glacier). From there you can hike along the Ruetz to the waterfall in about 25 minutes. The parking lot is located to the left of the street just before an underpass and cannot be overlooked.

In winter, however, this parking lot is often closed due to snowfall and the longer path to the waterfall is not accessible. As an alternative, there is a closer car park opposite the Grawa Alm, which is also open in winter. But beware! The path from the Grawa Alm to the waterfall is also icy in winter and can only be walked at your own risk.
