The fragrance: Our story

the suitcase as inspiration

"Suddenly I was in Tyrol, even though I was living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My mother, a Tyrolean, regularly visited her relatives in Tyrol. Every time she returned to Rio de Janeiro, there was this moment when she opened her suitcase and a scent of mountain landscapes, flower meadows, mountain lakes and forests filled the room." (Felix Richter)

the story begins in Rio de Janeiro

Since 2017, Felix has been living in Tyrol again with his wife Georgianna and their two children. The story of the suitcase that brings the scent of Tyrol far away impressed Georgianna deeply. Inspired by her many years of experience in the art and fashion industry, she decided to capture this experience in the form of a perfume.

The fascinating process of creating the fragrance ultimately led to the development of the perfume in Grasse, the French world capital of perfumery. The traditional perfumery Galimard, which was founded in 1747, was chosen as the partner for the development of the fragrance.

The aim was to capture the connection with Tyrolean nature, but also influences from further afield. Hyacinths are reminiscent of a meadow of flowers, green notes of a walk in the forest and alpine roses of mountain landscapes. A hint of sea breeze captures the coastal influences from Rio de Janeiro and reflects the diverse background of the perfume's creators.
