Perfume fragrances

The art of perfumery lies in the careful combination of different fragrances that together create a unique scent experience. Perfumes consist of a variety of ingredients that are divided into four main categories according to their characteristic aromas: floral, fresh, oriental and woody. Each of these categories brings its own distinctive notes to the fragrance composition.

Fresh smell

Natural X synthetic fragrances: Synthetic raw materials play an important role in modern perfume production because they allow for a greater variety of scents than natural raw materials. For example, scents such as lily of the valley and lilac cannot be obtained naturally. In addition, synthetic fragrances imitate some natural scents that are difficult or unethical to extract. In this way, they contribute to the protection of flora and fauna (source: galimard.com).

Synthetic fragrance

Since the 19th century, the combination of natural and synthetic ingredients has revolutionized the perfume industry, allowing perfumers to create sophisticated and balanced fragrances.

The secret The essence of a masterfully composed perfume lies not only in the selection of the individual components, but above all in their interaction. In a perfectly balanced perfume, the individual components lose their individual characteristics and merge to form a completely new, harmonious overall picture. This process is comparable to that of an orchestra, in which each individual note is recognizable on its own, but is part of a larger, complex body of sound.

Fragrances: There are about 500 natural and thousands of synthetic fragrances. However, even naturally occurring fragrances are often produced synthetically in order to preserve plant biodiversity.

Examples of fragrances

The Eau de Parfum Diamant Tirol is a prime example of a complex and unique fragrance composed of numerous fragrances. The carefully selected components of this fragrance were exclusively composed to create a distinctive aroma. The top note combines green notes, hyacinth and bergamot to create a fresh and invigorating opening. The heart note continues this freshness with the spice of cypress, the freshness of a sea breeze and the floral accents of alpine rose and primrose. The base notes of cedar wood, vetiver, patchouli and labdanum give the fragrance a deep, earthy and at the same time sophisticated structure. This unique composition conveys a feeling of security, freedom, courage and inner strength and makes “Diamant Tirol” more than just a fragrance – it is an expression of character and emotion.
