It's not an official show, but it looks like one. In winter, a large snow ramp is built on the Seegrube, where snowboarders and skiers perform acrobatic jumps.
If you want to watch, you can take the Nordkette cable car to the Seegrube middle station and walk up a few meters at the side of the ski slope right next to the restaurant. Soon you have the perfect view of the large ramp.
The ramp is part of a snow park and is accessible to all winter sports enthusiasts. There are also smaller ramps for beginners. It is particularly important to emphasize that the large ramps should only be used by very experienced skiers and snowboarders , as it can lead to serious injuries. So feel free to watch, it's really an experience, but jumping is only for professionals!
The Seegrube Snowpark not only offers spectacular jumps, but also a breathtaking view of Innsbruck and the surrounding Alps. While the pros show off their tricks, spectators can relax in the nearby restaurant. There are smaller ramps for beginners to gain their first experience in the snowpark.
