The Serlespark is a popular excursion destination for families with small children. The park is located in the Stubaital and can be easily reached from Mieders with the Serlesbahnen cable car. There is a water play area right by the cable car mountain station and next to it a reservoir with a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
Children should definitely have extra clothing with them as they usually get wet while playing. Parents can take a short tour around the larger of the reservoirs.
The view is impressive and a photo of the reservoir with the mountain landscape is a must. There is a much-visited restaurant at the mountain station of the Serlesbahnen. The mountain station is also a possible starting point for a mountaineering tour on the Serles, but this is only recommended for experienced hikers.
In addition to the water playground and the reservoir, the Serlespark offers numerous hiking trails that are suitable for families with children. For shorter hikes, there are easy circular hiking trails that are also suitable for strollers. A special highlight for the little ones is the summer toboggan run on the Serlesbahn, which provides additional fun. The nature around the Serlespark is impressive and invites you to spend relaxing hours while the children play and the parents enjoy culinary delights in the inn.
