info:
Möserer See Directions: The journey is a bit complicated, as there are many small roads (some of them forest and private roads) near the lake. The navigation system often sends you down the wrong path. It is better not to follow the sat nav. The journey is via Seefeld or Telfs along the Möserer Landesstraße.
Möserer See Parking: There are two official parking lots.
1) The first is right on the lake, but only has about 20 spaces, which are rarely free. To get there, turn into Möserer Seeweg near Pension Klotz in the village of Mösern. After about 500 m you will reach the paid parking lot. From there it is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the lake.
2) Seewaldalm car park. This large car park is free of charge, but is a bit away from the lake. The walk to the lake takes about 30 minutes. If you are coming from Seefled, the car park is on the Möserer Landesstraße on the right-hand side just before Mösern and is impossible to miss.
3) There are also a few parking spaces in the village of Mösern itself. With a bit of luck, you can find one and then walk about 20 minutes along the Mösern Lake Trail to the lake.
Restaurant: The good inn Möserer Seestuben is located on the Möserer Lake itself.
Bathing and swimming: Swimming in the lake is permitted. The water temperature is just over 20°C in summer.
