Kufstein is also known for its rich culture and musical tradition. Particularly worth mentioning is the Heldenorgel, the largest open-air organ in the world, which resounds twice a day from the fortress and fills the entire town with its sounds. In addition, the area around Kufstein offers numerous opportunities for hikes and excursions into nature, such as the nearby Kaisertal, which is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Tyrol.
