Apenas algumas \u00e1reas para banhos de sol est\u00e3o reservadas para os h\u00f3spedes do Hotel Schloss Fernsteinsee. Uma trilha de caminhada contorna o lago em cerca de 30 minutos. Fernsteinsee \u00e9 conhecido por suas \u00e1guas cristalinas e, portanto, muito popular entre os mergulhadores. Diretamente na montanha acima do lago est\u00e3o as ru\u00ednas do Castelo Fernstein e do castelo logo abaixo.
