Innsbruck and Nordkette<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The easiest way to reach the Nordkette is with the Nordkette cable car, which runs from the Hungerburg directly to the Seegrube station. The Seegrube is located at an altitude of 1,905 meters and offers a spectacular panoramic view of Innsbruck and the surrounding Alpine peaks. The fresh mountain air and the cozy atmosphere make every visit an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seegrube and Hafelekar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

If you want to go even higher, you can take the cable car from Seegrube to Hafelekar, which promises even more impressive views. At a height of 2,334 meters, Hafelekar is the ideal place to admire the vastness and beauty of the Tyrolean mountains in all their glory. A short 15-minute hike from the Hafelekar mountain station takes visitors to the summit of Hafelekar, where a panorama of incomparable beauty opens up before them. To the north you can see the Karwendel Mountains, to the south the Patscherkofel, the Serles and other imposing peaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numerous hiking trails lead from the Seegrube and the Hafelekar over the Nordkette, some of them with dangerous spots and the risk of falling. A relatively safe alternative is the hike from the Seegrube back to the Hungerburg mountain station. This mostly leads along a gravel road or marked forest paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On foot: The Nordkette can be explored on foot from Innsbruck or the surrounding towns such as Thaur.
