Those who come by car can, for example, get on the railway in Strass im Zillertal and stay on it until Zell am Ziller, one of the loveliest towns in the Zillertal. Today, the route is mainly used for local transport and tourist traffic. The Zillertal Railway not only offers comfortable transport, but also a scenic journey through the beautiful Zillertal. The view of the lush meadows and the imposing mountain backdrop is particularly impressive in summer, while in winter the snow-capped peaks dominate the panorama. The Zillertal Railway is also known for its historic steam train, which runs regularly and is very popular with tourists. The slow journey offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the surroundings to the fullest and immerse yourself in the relaxed pace of the region.
